Traveling internationally with a newborn is not for the faint of heart. Lots of people told me we were brave (read : insane) and they were right (about the insane part.)
The highs are really high. There were moments where it was so blissfully amazing I could die – We were doing it! Life is amazing! I love travel so much and I love my baby!
The lows were really low. There were moments I thought we all might actually die (dear family reading this we were not in any actual danger) and I really thought it was the most foolish thing we had ever done.
But you know what? I wouldn’t trade this trip for anything. I have no regrets. I know now that Aaron and I are a stronger team than I ever could have imagined.
There are so many stories this trip could tell. But I will just let the images tell them for now.
Mitaka : Where I lived for a year after graduating from UCLA.
Our old friend, the Ice Cream Man.
The spot where Aaron proposed, 6 years ago.
Travel baby meets her friend Emma – born just a week before her. Her mom Lauren and I had the exact same due date. We used to sing together at church when I lived in Tokyo.
Aaron’s all time favorite Ramen, in Harajuku.
Until next time, Tokyo. I love you.
