palm coast wedding : mike + monica

September 7

When I first met Mike + Monica, I liked them both immediately.

Sweet, easygoing, friendly. Exactly what you might expect from a Southern gentleman and Canadian gal.

I should have known, based on their sweetness, that the crowd that would gather for their wedding at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida would be just as lovely.

What I had no way to expect, was how much this crowd would bring down the house.

Seriously – the South (and Canada!) knows how to PARTY.

I would elaborate, because you know I like to, but in this case my words really won’t do it justice.

The photos say it all.

oh, hey. Who says your wedding photographer can’t take a minute to get on the dance floor. Obviously, not me.

Leaving you with what may well be my favorite reception photograph. Ever.

Mike + Monica,

I was so blessed to be a part of your wedding day. And I am SO GLAD you live in San Francisco now.

We will be having Kinect dance party double dates. Soon.

xoxo,
Em

p.s. Thanks also to Tracy for being so stellar and helping me at this wedding! I heart you!

Oh wow, that last picture.  Just…wow.  I hope you get some nice shots like that when Will’s 91 year old grandma boogies down on the dance floor :)
