My husband Aaron and Shane were roommates during our years at UCLA. And when you date someone in college, their roommate becomes part of the family.
Sometimes you don’t want to know as much as you do about your significant other’s roommates, but sometimes, it’s a blessing. For all of Shane’s quirks just make you love him more. He’s like that.
During Aaron’s toast at Shane + Becca’s wedding this past weekend at the Handlery Hotel in San Diego, he shared something that I think sums things up pretty well about Shane and his new bride Becca.
At UCLA Shane changed his major from Biochem, to Chinese, to English, and back again quite a lot. There were some things he had a hard time making decisions about.
But when he introduced us to Becca, there was not a bit of hesitancy.
This was the one.
He had never been so sure of anything in his life.
Shane + Becca met at a leadership retreat in law school. Shane at Temple and Becca at USD – they started their relationship long distance while Shane finished up his time in Philadelphia.
Becca has one more year to go, but she gets to finish with the love of her life.
It was such an honor to document their sweet love.
So much gratitude to Kat for being the most amazing assistant I could have asked for on their day.
Kristin did a fabulous job with the flowers!
It’s so distracting to photograph a wedding and have to deal with your husband in a tux the whole time…
Shane + Becca’s cake was Taro flavored!
yay! thanks Kat for this photo of me and that hottie best man.
WHO LET HIM ON THE DANCE FLOOR?
I hope you both are having an amazing honeymoon in Pismo Beach!
We love you guys!
